Making essential care more reachable

For many families, the obstacle is not the absence of hospitals. It is a day of lost wages, a bus fare, an unfamiliar building, a queue, and the fear of a bill at the end of it.

Add to that the quiet conditions people learn to live with — reduced hearing, a recurring ear infection, untreated anxiety — and care gets postponed until it becomes serious. Our camps aim to remove as many of those barriers as we can at once, by bringing qualified professionals to the community.
